Simulating a cruise ship disaster

CNN's Brian Todd is briefed on how to navigate a cruise ship, standing on the bridge with an instructor at the STAR training center of the American Maritime Officers union in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.‬ Also part of the simulation: what to do in an emergency, if you ram into some rocks.

    It is sad what happened but it could have been worse.All of the training goes down the tubes when something bad happens.Think about the Titanic and realize it could have been worse.My prayers for all.Jim Thomas Phx.Az.
