Wolf Blitzer delivers the most important news and political stories of the day. Tune to The Situation Room weekdays 5-7pm ET and Saturdays 6pm ET on CNN.
I like Wolf Blitzer's name, because I can address him as Mr. Blitzer, which has a nice poetic ring to it. As for this I Report, I am suspicious that someone on Mr. Blitzers Staff, possibly a popular personality whose name rhymes with hack, wrote it as a practical joke. In any case we are lucky to have a personality and journalist of Mr. Blitzers ability around. Sure he leans a little, but he he does get the best interviews with the most important people on the planet, and his reports are always timely and relevent. The Situation Room show is so well produced it seems to go by in 5 minutes sometimes. As far as the name, the Wolf part must be some sort of nickname. Only Mr. Blitzer can tell us about that. Doug. I would assume the name was given to him by his parents. I suppose it's possible he changed his name for his TV career.
i believe that is his real name for some reason.
