(CNN) – Herman Cain told his staff Tuesday he is "reassessing" the viability of his campaign in the wake of a Georgia woman's allegations that she had a long extramarital affair with the Georgia businessman. One top campaign source tells CNN he expects a decision "within a few days" - based on whether fund-raising dries up.
Cain told CNN's Wolf Blitzer on "The Situation Room" Monday that her assertion was coming and would be false.
Do you think Herman Cain should drop out of the presidential race?

Unfairly places too much of the rudben on low income families while excluding high net worth individuals who's primary income is either dividends, or, as (many are, or can be classified to be) business owners, they can convert current income to dividends and pay no tax.The 9% tax on all purchases including food will place a further extraordinary rudben on those least able to afford it, and this tax is in addition to state, county and local taxes therefore many will actually pay 19+% of essential goods and services. No wonder even the Cain economist' is backing away from this critical step in the plan and is suggesting a replacement 9% payroll tax so either way, those at the lowest end of the economic ladder will get hit the hardest. And, finally, this is only an interim step in Cains plan the final step is to replace the 9,9,9 with a 30% federal sales tax in addition to those pesky state, county and local taxes mentioned above, on all purchases including goods and services. How about paying almost 50% more than you're currently paying for groceries, prescriptions, etc just to support government? The only winners are the rich! It's a great plan for them but since they account for 1%, it further exacerbates the problem.
Figures. The only hope for the little guy having a voice in the GOP turns out to be a coward.
"I don't think I did all that bad last time, so I'm sure if Hillary or Sarah run for the GOP, you will see a Republican in the whitehouse this time around. I do a little work outside CNN !"
He should stay in the race.He is the most qualified of all with his business experience and that is what this country needs.Put Bachman with him and he walks away with the election. We do not need another obama.Jim Thomas Phx. Az.
Cain should have never been in the race to begin with. He had such disrespect for the postion of President of the United States and everyone because he knew the baggage he had and he denied and ignored it. I feel very sorry for his family because he has shown disrespect for them for many years.
I don't believe the pilusblry illuminati family puppet and former federal reserve chairman has any place in the tea party, or any place in any conservative movement. He has direct ties with groups and people who seek to destroy America as we know it. He is on the tea party scene for one reason, and it is not to win. He wants to appeal directly to the republicans who like Ron Pauls point of view, thus splitting Dr. Pauls primary votes, leaving their new chosen one as our candidate. Look into it!
