BLITZER’S BLOG: World leaders flock to New York

I've been coming to New York almost every September for a long time, because of the United Nations General Assembly. It convenes at the same time each year. Leaders flock from all over the world, making it a good opportunity to sit down with some of them.

In recent years, I've also been able to interview former President Bill Clinton. He hosts his Clinton Global Initiative in New York at the same time, to allow world leaders to attend both the General Assembly and the CGI. In fact, tomorrow I'll be sitting down with Clinton.
