When did the news become a forum for the self promotion and ego stroking of the program host? How about giving us more of the news that is important and some insightful, thoughtful evaluation and analysis of it. I am tired of the personality stroking that is going on and the insipid lead in "what's going on". We still have over a hundred thousand Americans in danger in war zones, but not one mention of how they are doing and the dangers that they are facing. When you report on our economy, jobs, housing, etc., it is so superficial and uninformative, and your so-called "experts" offer some nebulous gobbledegook that means little and seems only to be a forum for their self important promotion. Get some real business people who know what is truly going on to give us their point of view. Get out of your whiz-bang techno studio and go to some real places and report what the people who are living through all of this are saying. Get back to some real news reporting.
