Jobs are needed to re-hire the unemployed and to hire new workers to the job market. However, S&P's downgrade of our credit rating may make job creation even worse than it is. One result of the poor judgement of the Tea Party element in the Republican Party is the downgrading of our nation's credit rating by Standard & Poors from AAA to AA+. This action could lead to higher interest rates for everyone. The ripple effect around the world could make things even worse. This was very poor judgement indeed! Earlier, I warned the Republicans that they could be replaced in 2012 as easily as the Democrats were replaced in 2010.
