So, let me get this straight...Congress wants to take away the military retirement. They want to take away the ONLY incentive that we have for even joining the military in this country. Do they think that we're serving three and four tours in Iraq or Afghanistan because we enjoy the action? Yet, they expect to walk away with a full retirement pension after serving 5 years in a nice, cushy, ergonomic chair. If this bill passes, not only will there be a MASS EXODUS of service members getting out of the military, it will also be the end of the military as we know it and the end of our Nation's ability to defend itself. We mind as well be asking Al Qaeda to attack us again, I mean there won't be anyone there to stop them if this bill passes! Maybe they'll do us all a favor and blow up the capitol building while Congress is in session! Thank God Obama won't allow this to pass. Thank God we have a president who knows the value of our nation's military. Thank God for the power of VETO!
