CNN's Jim Acosta reports on the flurry of Tolkien references John McCain used in challenging tea party congress members.
RELATED STORY: McCain refers to 'tea party hobbits,' blasts Bachmann-backed idea
The Tea Party is another form of the KKK. It's like a corporation when they do bad that name closes shop and re opens in another name. The Republicans are playing very dirty and sneaky games within the law. Look at what happen in the 50s. It's slowly happening again. The Tea Party the hell with the poor, working class poor and the middle class. The United states is going backwards. The divide among politics is even greater ever since Obama became President. The sleeping giant (KKK) has awaken but with a a new name The Tea Party. The people who vote better wake up. Obama told the people to get out and vote when senator sits where being elected on and they didn't come out. IT'S SAD.
I've worked almost all of my life and Social Security monies was taken out from my check. I do not believe their was a choice. Thus I feel that what I now get each month as a senior came from what was taken out from my check all of the years I worked. Now, because of this "debt ceiling situation," I get the feeling that "nobody in the White House or Congress cares about that its seniors. The politicians want "their top dollar figures each month." Because we seniors have had little to live off of, we would probably know how to "balance the budget" better than they.
How can these people represent America acting this way; especially trying to throw the blame on "President Obama." What are other countries saying about America? They are probably laughing their heads off because this is so ridiculous. Why is it so hard for a "republican" to accept a "democratic" proposal, or the other way around? I've lost respect for Congress and its affiliates.
Wall Street receives billions, GE pays no corporate tax as they move more jobs overseas, hedge-fund managers pay a lower tax rate than their janitors... Perhaps Congress should wear jackets like NASCAR drivers showing who they're really working for
Was watching today when Nancy Pelosi began to speak in the Congress. The Hampton Roads station immediately went to commercials.
Reminded me that I have seen very few Congressional Democrats during the massive coverage of the debt ceiling debate on any channel.
