The War in Afghanistan should have ended when Karzai won the election. This idea that the United States has to stay there is crazy. The threat has been removed! When Usama Bin Laden and his band of merry-men were on the war path, the U.S. had legitimate concern. Once they were removed... it seems the mission objectives changed. All we are doing now is wasting money and lives. Leave the Afghans to govern themselves. By now, they know better than to allow some terrorists to use their land as a base for launching an attack against us. Staying there any longer will not make that message any clearer.
