Housing is probably the major key to stabilizing and expanding our economy.
A new and different solution to stimulate and improve both the housing and mortgage markets without additional cost to the national debt.
FREE THE IRAs,401Ks and other Retirement Accounts as follows:
Allow mortgage loans from these retirement accounts for individuals and immediate families for the purchase of new homes and in certain cases refinances for home improvements of existing homes without the tax penalty assessment for early withdrawal.
In exchange the retirement accounts will receive a mortgage lien against the property with a 1% interest rate repayable over a term based upon age 70 less the borrower's present age. The mortgage-lien loan is due and payable in full upon any disposition of the home.
Creative finance and creative home market improvements.

    Jack,
Thank you for the boldness you've shown over the years!
I would very much like to hear you hold up the name of GOD- JESUS CHRIST.

Seems like Muhammad, allah and every other false prophet and false god can be spoken of.

But when it comes to the ONE AND ONLY ONE Who can forgive our sins and give us eternal life, NO BODY— Has nerve enough to say JESUS CHRIST IS LORD-- And there is no other name given whereby mankind can be saved.

    PS
IF YOU HAVEN'T HAD A PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH JESUS
    I PRAY YOU WILL
GOD HAS BLESSED AMERICA FOR MANY YEARS
BUT EVEN Gods LONG SUFFERING HAS It'd LIMITS
HE IS ALSO A GOD OF WRATH TO THOSE WHO DON'T LOVE of HIM

    THANK YOU JACK

If the economy is so bad, can we measure the effect it has had on Mitt Romneys' wealth? or how about the impact on the Koch brothers, Adelstein or any of the top GOP members. Are they hurting as much as they say we are?

The American Dream is no longer about being successful enough by owning your own things like homes, cars, a summer camp....etc..it's now about being successful enough to live, feed your family, and keep a job. It's sad, but the American Dream has indeed changed it's definition, and I do believe one day the original American Dream will be back, but for now....we all work like dogs even when we have master's degrees......

ask congress, they have made more money in this bad economy , save America re-elect no-one . They had there chance and we're paying the bills right along with their house , their car and their insurance . Time for congress elected to move on and try to make a living in the real world . I do not think they would make it.

It means that the average american is screwed, we've are getting it stuck to us everyday since the Bush Administration took office and President Obama has done very little to make good on any of his campaign promises, that needed to be kept to turn things back around. The white collar criminals are still ripping us off. What ever happened to Obama's campaign promise of, ending Stooter Libby Justice. What is Eric Holder working on? Everyday Big Oil is gouging the american public and they want to drill on OUR Public lands for free. Our crooked politicians in the pocket of Big Oil do nothing to stop it. The result hardly anybody can afford to do anything, except survive and watch Mr. Hope and change, cave and fold. He says going to start fighting now, I'll believe it when I see it.

Dream? I believe it's nightmare, unless that is if your are in the privileged, untouchable million-dollar-a-year zone.

The American dream has been in decline for over 30 years. We have been taught to be compulsive consumers of things we don't need, creating a world wide empire via our military and now we are in the beginning stages of fascism by merging state and corporate powers. They say the next step will be when a president is elected that is wrapped in the flag and carrying the cross. The job of the president is suppose to be the commander and chief of our military not the boss of everything else, that's why we have checks and balances. We are continuing to allow the private fed to print money and lend it to banks here and abroad, and because of that you are seeing a rise in commodities because of inflation and it is creating slaves to a debt system we wont be able to pay off. If they continue to do that here in the U.S.A., in Europe and around the world "the people will wake up one day on the land their fathers conquered homeless".

The American Dream on the Decline.
It says now you know how the lower class feels. Everytime you think you have found a way up, its just that easy to get knocked down. The only difference is, that most people dont know how to survive now. Everyone that is use to this way of living is breezing through the day. It also shows that you're better off saving your money instead of getting a loan. Because things may change throughout contracts, but the consumer stays locked in the contract. If you come with cash or build a home from the ground up. You will come out with safer, you will not be locked in a 15 to 30year mortgage. When things change you dont have to worry about being in debt with bankers, who finds new ways to create consumer debt

    Jack-

I have just been watching the reports on Wiener and he is getting what he deserves. However, there is clearly a double standard at work. When Mark Haines died there was clearly something suspicious in their not releasing his cause of death. It has not even been released yet, When Russert or Kivorkian (sps?) died the cause was listed immediately. Now I assume that Mark committed suicide but when you compare the way Wiener was hounded versus the way the Haines story was ignored you will see the double standard I am talking about – how the press handles one of its own vs a politician.

I think this is worthy of your attention.
